This album cover influenced how I wanted my album cover to be by the fact it is a rubiks cube. I thought this would be a great creation to have the album cover seem more playful. I started thinking of games you do by yourself and I came across a maze. I immediately thought that this was a perfect idea for the album, I wanted to make an intermediate maze . I wanted the audience to have fun solving the maze whilst listening to the music. I began to think that maybe the maze would be to boring just as white, so I though I would add colour to it, at first I thought just blue or red but then I decided that it would be more eye catching if it was multi-coloured, this would also make the maze harder to solve and equally more entertaining.

Target Audience
Gender : Male
Why: Rarest spun is a andocentric band, this causes the band to be mainly aimed at males. I believe that the song is very masculine die to the rock genre that the band follows. Rock is normally seen to be enjoyed more by males than females.
Age: 17-21
Why: I would range the target audience's age to be between 17 ans 21 because the normal age range of this genre are people who are at college or university.
Ethnicity: White Caucasian
Why: The band consists of only white males causing it to become more appleing to the white male. This is due to it being easier to relate to them.
Smilar Artists: The New Rasicals, Elbow, The Pixies ect
Why: This is due to the music being very similar and because these bands also have similar target audiences.
Aspects of our music video that our target audience will identify with.
The aspect of our music video that our target audience will identify with is the performance shots. Seeing as our target audience is white males between the age of 17 and 21 who are at college/university we did some research into this age group and our reseach shows that this target audience are more likely to be/wanting to be in a band, people normally associate being in a band as a lot of laughs and having fun with your mates. This is why we have shots of the band messing about whilst they are performing.

Those music people do live performances? Oh what will they thnk of next? Answer: I've been to a live performance once. It was the Norwich Pops Orchestra. Nothing head-bangable but that "Planets Suit - Jupiter" was a real toe tapper.

Can’t think of any singular bands but genres... Indie, Mod, Punk, Grunge (mostly the first two).
Love listening to Pink Floyd and the Kinks... Their music calms and pacifies me in which I can lose myself.

Overall I found that more Females tent to reply to questionnaires and tent to be more truthful. I also noticed that illegal downloading is more popular then buying off of itunes. Many people either listen to 'youtube' and downloading the music than buying the actual CDs. Many people between the age of 17- 19 tend not to watch music videos, they are more likely to find out about new music or songs from friends or pop-ups on the internet.
Many of them don't listen to unsigned bands but many do listen to non mainstream bands/ artists. And i have noticed that not many people between 17-19 actually go to concerts or festivals.
